How to let go of Resentment: Sail Your Soul Sunday

A twitter follower asked: Can you suggest ways to help release resentment?   I no longer want to hold on to this feeling. "Forgive others not because they always deserve it but because you deserve peace." Realize that your hurts and grudges are serving no purpose but to propagate your own suffering.  So why are you clinging to them? It is the ego. Like a bird builds a nest out of twigs and scraps it gathers, the ego gathers bumps, bruises, and grudges into this thing that Eckhart Tolle calls the pain body.  Then the moment you encounter anything that resembles one of those past pains, your whole accumulated body of grudges and anger comes to life. That is suffering.  Daily meditation and continual meditation will help make this unconscious process clear to you as it happens. I would recommend Eckhart Tolle’s book The Power of Now. “Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.” ~ Buddha

Saute steaks until brown and cooked medium-rare, about 3 minutes on each side, depending on the steaks' thickness. If the pan isn't large enough to comfortably hold all four steaks, saute them in batches, holding the cooked steaks in a 250-degree oven until ready to serve. Swatches And Review! Each set comes with 6 eyeshadows *Shadows are great, blend well, some of the mattes however are a bit chalky  Other then that they are GREAT :)
1 Primer Ive always loved elfs primer, gets the job done!
1 black eyeliner pencil I was actually impressed with this liner, doesnt smudge and lasts a good 6-8 hours, does great in the water liner as well.
1 liquid eyeliner Love this stuff, no complaints, goes on nice and lasts a good 8 hours.
1 eyeshadow brush I love elfs brushes... their eyeshadow brush is actually one of my favorites
1 Mascara This is the only thing from the line that I did not like. Ive never been a fan of any of their mascaras. I will probably throw these away or give them to someone but really dont see how any one could ever like this mascara.. maybe it just hates my lashes.
1 lipgloss Love they're lip glosses! The evil queen, ursula and maleficent are pretty true to the tube color and pretty opaque. The Cruela however is VERY sheer and "see through…

Cover Girl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation: Review

My Skin: Oily/Acne Prone Sensitive
Price about $10 at Walgreens I picked up color 305
Coverage: Light to Medium
The color was a great match and the smell is pleasent. I really wanted to love this foundation.  I gave it a few tries and I just couldnt. The application is a dream goes on sooooo soft and smooth and it gives a nice airbrush finish... but within 3 hours of wearing this stuff.. it was no where to be found, like I didnt even apply foundation! Which is kinda crappy because the finish of this foundation is great but lasting power.. no good. Ive tried it with a primer and without and no luck.
If youve tried this leave a comment below would love to hear your thoughts!

Q&A: From my IG followers!

I always get asked ?'s on IG and its hard to get to them all, so I posted a pic along with this title.. "Blogging today! Doing a q&a.. Can't do it without your questions tho ;) So ask away" so, here we go
"How old are you?" 27
"Hi Kasey!! I love your videos! But my question is how did you start your own cosmetics line?" I spent a long time researching labs and took my time finding which one I wanted to work with, I then searched packaging, labels and did my homework on ingredient lists. I then choose my Youtube Channel "still glamorous" for my company name and I also created my label myself as well. I spent a lot time learning how to create my website and which web host I wanted to go with. I started with selling only pigments then over the years started adding more and more products! :)

So I have lots of drug store favorites but I narrowed it down to just 5! If you're anything like me you'll probably have the urge to run to your local store and pick up some/all of these items and I figured more then 5 products would be too much pressure : p
So here are my HOLY GRAIL items from the Drug Store.. I will not be including ELF products because I wanted to stay with products that "WalGreens & CVS" carry :)  I will be happy to do a ELF Must Haves blog though if requested!  Okay on to the fun part..

Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick offers all the creamy luxuriousness of high-end lipsticks without the wallet-depleting price.
