Removing Makeup

Products I use to
get a squeaky clean face:

First I remove eye makeup:
To remove eye makeup, I use the Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover. Been using it for a year now and I dont plan on changing anytime soon, I love it!
You can find this at Target for about $9.99
This stuff will last a long time, you only need a little!
I use it along with cotton balls.

Next I remove my face makeup:
I use the Olay daily expressions wet cleansing clothes for sensitive skin to remove foundation, blush anything on my face and even lipstick (if its still on)
No water needed. Lifts away dirt, oil and makeup. You can find these at your local drugstore for about $6.

Buy product here online or go to your local Drug store!

Then I wash my face:
I use Boscia daily facial cleanser to wash my face. I've used this stuff for almost 2 years now and I love it! Keeps my skin nice and clear and controls my oily skin.

Buy product here online or go to your local Sephora!

Miss Bianca: 4 month update

Miss Bianca is 4 months young <3
 Weight: 20 lbs
Size 2 diapers ready to go into a 3!
Clothes: 12 months!
_________
Here we are! 4 months already! The above picture is her sitting in her bumbo seat.
She LOVES to sit up! So this seat is definitely a favorite right now.
Bianca is doing great, I am really loving this stage.
She is always smiling and full of laughs, coos and squeals.
Smiles to get attention
She keeps her head steady when sitting on our lap or in her bumbo.
    Rolls and reaches for objects.
    And she loves to cuddle.
She actually rolled onto her belly yesterday!
I tried tummy time and she hates it.
I still like to try but so far not good.
She screams (not in pain) haha yes I think she does it just to hear herself :)
She drools a lot, and she loves “chewing” on her hard toys.
I did start her on some baby food.. she loves the carrots so far (stage 1)
Shes been using the Similac Sensitive formula for the past month and she does great on it!

Here are our favorite products so far..

The Bumbo seat
This is her first time in it I placed a pillow behind her for extra support
We no longer need it cause she does just fine without it.

The Mam Bottles and Binkie

She wont take anything else :)
Only bad thing about that is Mam bottles are hard to find!

Fisher Price Rocker

She loves this thing! She takes her naps in it.. she sits in it while I cook dinner, work etc.
It turns into a toddler rocker too so thats neat!
It has a musical bar that goes across not shown in the picture she pulls on the toy and music plays again she just loves this rocker!

Bright Starts Pretty in Pink Supreme Play Gym

Another favorite.. it has music she loves it. Keeps her entertained.. this is where she first rolled over!

Thats our 4 month update see you next time!

    My daily routine

    My daily routine
    *Monday-Friday*

I think daily routines are so important to a mommy's day (to anybody's day really!)
I couldn't imagine my life without one.
My advice... Get a routine established, play around with it for a week or two.
See what works for you (and your family)
By adding a daily routine to your day you add structure.
A daily routine creates predictability. Predictability reduces anxiety.
A good schedule can also help develop good habits, such as picking up after an activity is over,
brushing teeth, homework to keeping up with laundry, etc.
Only time my routine changes is for Dr. Appointments or special meetings. So onto my routine..

    Good Morning.
    6:00am:
Me and Baby Bianca wake up.
I feed her, change her, burp her and get her dressed :)
Miss Bianca goes back to sleep...
Next I get myself dressed and ready for the day!
Sometimes Ill do my make up and look "nice" most days.. Im in jeans and a comfy t shirt
with simple makeup (tutorial for that here)!
    7:00am:
Wake the kiddos up. Start a load of laundry.
I give my self a head start by having all their clothes set out the night before.
This saves time and prevents fights and whinging about what they wear.
    Kiddos get dressed
Eat breakfast (during the week I keep breakfast simple. cereal.)
    I do my daughters hair.
They brush their teeth, get their shoes on, grab their lunch and back packs/
And get in line at the door!
Bianca by this time wakes back up and she gets to go in her car seat.
    8:00am:
I take the kids to school.
Every other week when we get the boys (my step sons)
It usually takes me about an hour to drop everyone off.
As they all attend different schools.

     8:30-9:00am:
    Back home.
Transfer load you started earlier into the dryer.
(if dinners plans are cooked in a crock pot Ill start that now)
Change Miss Bianca again and shes usually ready for another feeding.
I get Noah set up with something to do.. lego's, morning cartoons or coloring.. etc.
    Cause next I...

    9:30am:
    Clock in.
I am a S.A.H.M (stay at home mom)
    That works from home.
(Lucky me I get to work with a friend who is an awesome employee)
Baby Bianca goes into her little rocker and hangs out near by while mommy works.

    11:00am:
    Snack time for Noah :)
    (and mommy)

    11:30am:
Change Miss Bianca again and shes usually ready for another feeding.
    Then back to work.
Good thing for me.. Noah actually plays very well by himself!

    Good Afternoon:
    12:00pm:
Baby Bianca usually goes down for a nap.
    Mommy is still working.
Noah starts to get bored about now.

    12:30pm:
    Lunch Time

    1:00-1:30pm:
Wrap work up and call it a day.
If I packed orders that day.. I take them to the post office.
    Baby Bianca usually still sleeping.

    2:30pm:
    Pick up kids from school.

    3:30pm:
    Once we get home.
I change Miss Bianca again and shes usually ready for another feeding.
Everyday I go through their back pack.
We set homework out and discuss how their day was and I look for any papers that need to be signed and returned.

    3:45pm:
I let the kids have an hour to relax and play.
They just got home from school so I give them a break before starting homework or any chores.
Remember the load that's in the dryer.. that's get put away :)
A load a day keeps the piles away!

    4:45pm:
    Kids clean up from playtime.

    Good Evening:
    5:00pm:
In the kitchen. I start dinner. Kids start homework.
Bianca usually naps again. (This is her last nap for the day)
    6:00pm:
    We eat dinner.

    6:30pm:
Joseph and the kids clean the kitchen.
Table cleaned, floor swept and dishes done.

    7:00pm:
    The bedtime routine starts now.
Kids take a bath. Get p.j's on. Brush teeth
Set clothes out for the next day (as well as mommy and daddys)
    Story time.
I change Miss Bianca again and shes usually ready for another feeding.
    7:45pm:
    Bedtime.
My kids take about 30 minutes to fall asleep
So I put them to bed early so I know for sure they are asleep by 8:30.
My kids are so grumpy in the morning if they dont get enough sleep!

    Goodnight:
    8:00pm
I take 15 minutes to walk through the house.. make sure its clean
and pick anything up thats needs to be put away.
    Check email & Pay bills.
     Plan for tomorrow
Check for any appointments for the next day.
. Set out frozen meats to thaw if needed for tomorrow nights dinner.
    Make kids lunches for school.

    9:00pm:
     Watch t.v with Joe.
Walk briskly on the Treadmill ;)

    10:30-11:00pm:
I change Miss Bianca again, she gets a bath, pj's on and her last feeding for the night.
By this time she's out! She sleeps through the night now so she wont be back up until 6am!
    Shower then bedtime or
Facebook or You Tube or Twitter or this blog ;)

Weekend Routine will be next so stay tuned... <3

    Our anniversary night...

8 years ago I found my soul mate.
    9/11 was the date.
He said I love you and I wanna be with you forever.
I believed him then and I believe him now.
We've learned a lot, yet still a lot to learn.
We know what we have and we’ve made it this far
We often say to each other just how lucky we are
It’s a life full of hustle that is crazy sometimes
But I can honestly say these are the “BEST of times”
I have heard people complain as they age of what they may have missed
If I didnt have you, it would have been you I missed.
I know as a young girl I gave up what some may feel were the best years of their lives
Well I gave up nothing, I feel sorrow for them, I had more because I have you in my life.
So to the past 8 years, cheers to us.. and more to come.
    Happy Anniversary

We started our night off with dinner.
Joseph surprised me by taking me to a new place down town.
    THE HUB
    Downtown Tucson
    *Restaurant and Ice creamery*

Everything about this place was perfect... the setting, the customer service and the food!

Started with some drinks... Joseph had a beer and I went with some Riesling

     Their wings were Super Delicious!

I had the Prime Rim Dip (sandwich)
Im not big on dipping my sandwich's in a dip so I passed that part haha
OMG.. this sandwich was amazing sooo good and their fries were so good as well.
If you make a trip there.. try this!

Joseph had a pork sandwich.. which he enjoyed!

    The service here was great!
Once we were all done our waiter suggested we try the different types of ice cream they offer.
We tried about 10 flavors!  I definitely recommend the salted caramel, sorbet or birthday cake. We even tried their "fresh corn" ice cream..

I went with the birthday cake flavor and Joe went with the cookies n cream.
I wish I would have gotten the salted carmel.

If your looking for something new and fresh I recommend giving this place a try!
I cant wait to go back!

So on to our anniversary night..
we ended up going down 4th (downtown tucson)
I had a bloody mary Joe had a Dos XX lager.
This is a neat place.. different from your usual "bar" :)
Che's lounge was our last stop before home...
lots of talk about love over some drinks.
It was a beautiful.. out of the ordinary night.. for us <3

    My Everyday Effortless Makeup

    Simple. Classy. Fresh. Natural.

    Quick How To:
    SKIN/FACE:
    Wash Face and Hands.
    Moisturize. (Boscia Daily Cleanser)
I skipped foundation primer. (To keep things simple & quick)
Mac Studio Concealer over any blemishes. (Mac 130 brush)
Set with Mac Mineralize Skinfinish. (Light to Medium)
Lightly apply bronzer around forehead, under cheekbones and jaw line. (Still Glamorus Cosmetics in Soliel)
To brighten up face add a blush color similar to the natural pink you already have in your cheeks.. to apple of your cheeks. ( Still Glamorus Cosmetics in Pink Ice)
    Done with the SKIN.
    EYES:
I did not fill my brows in. I simply just groomed them.
Take a small crease brush and pick up a MATTE taupe color and close eye..
Work into the bottom and top lash line.
If you have long lashes apply mascara.
I like my lashes to look extra full so I applied Falsies.
    Red Cherry's # 217 ( My favorites!)
    Done with the EYES.
    LIPS:
Lightly line lips with Nyx natural lip liner.
Apply a nude/pink lipstick. (Still Glamorus Cosmetics Mercy)
And thats it, takes about 10 minutes at the most.
