Our anniversary night...

8 years ago I found my soul mate.
9/11 was the date.
He said I love you and I wanna be with you forever.
I believed him then and I believe him now.
We've learned a lot, yet still a lot to learn.
We know what we have and we’ve made it this far
We often say to each other just how lucky we are
It’s a life full of hustle that is crazy sometimes
But I can honestly say these are the “BEST of times”
I have heard people complain as they age of what they may have missed
If I didnt have you, it would have been you I missed.
I know as a young girl I gave up what some may feel were the best years of their lives
Well I gave up nothing, I feel sorrow for them, I had more because I have you in my life.
So to the past 8 years, cheers to us.. and more to come.
Happy Anniversary

We started our night off with dinner.
Joseph surprised me by taking me to a new place down town.
THE HUB
Downtown Tucson
*Restaurant and Ice creamery*

Everything about this place was perfect... the setting, the customer service and the food!

Started with some drinks... Joseph had a beer and I went with some Riesling

 Their wings were Super Delicious!

I had the Prime Rim Dip (sandwich)
Im not big on dipping my sandwich's in a dip so I passed that part haha
OMG.. this sandwich was amazing sooo good and their fries were so good as well.
If you make a trip there.. try this!

Joseph had a pork sandwich.. which he enjoyed!

The service here was great!
Once we were all done our waiter suggested we try the different types of ice cream they offer.
We tried about 10 flavors!  I definitely recommend the salted caramel, sorbet or birthday cake. We even tried their "fresh corn" ice cream..

I went with the birthday cake flavor and Joe went with the cookies n cream.
I wish I would have gotten the salted carmel.

If your looking for something new and fresh I recommend giving this place a try!
I cant wait to go back!

So on to our anniversary night..
we ended up going down 4th (downtown tucson)
I had a bloody mary Joe had a Dos XX lager.
This is a neat place.. different from your usual "bar" :)
Che's lounge was our last stop before home...
lots of talk about love over some drinks.
It was a beautiful.. out of the ordinary night.. for us <3

Good for you and congrats! I know I'm late lol! I married my wonderful husband when I was 18 (almost 19), we had been dating for 2 years at that point. It's amazing the things he and I have endured and how we have grown as a couple! We were both in the Air Force after high school and made it through 6 deployments. Our first daughter was born just before our second wedding anniversary (she's 8 now)!!!! We're now both out of the Air Force and living in TX, where we just completed our family! I have never been more happy than I am now and I never look back and wonder what I missed. I feel bad for people that have not known the kind of love and joy that I have had on the past 10 years of my marriage! I'm only 28 and I have been blessed enough to have what everyone dreams about! Congrats to you! You have a beautiful family! I wish you many more blessings as the years go by!

Btw, I grew up in Tucson/ Marana!!! ;)
